Voting ages

James posts about a proposal to lower the voting age in Ontario to 16, discussion ensues, on that and other rights-related ages. (16 vs. 18, whether there should be a clean break from childhood to adulthood at age or graduation or whether each right should be at an age that makes sense.) I like comments by ataniell93 and indefatigable42, but then I align with John Holt more than not, and he didn't like the idea of statutory age limits at all, except that one's primary guardians could drop you when you turned 18.
