Reminds me of a pre-vaccine observation I made that a bunch of isolating people could probably mingle once safely, but if they do that a lot then they're not isolating any more (unless it's a closed group). While going to a bar meant not just being around a bunch of people, but being around the sort of people who go to bars in a pandemic.

But yeah, you can do various calculations for various situations (microcovid!) I was focused mostly on indoor restaurants, though feeling comfortable in museums or on transit if people are/are not masked are also points of interest.

(I have good masks, but I'm not so confident in my fit or in my non-goggle eyeglasses (eye infection risk) as to want to challenge my protection if I can avoid doing so.)
