The Blue Sword
Date: 2006-04-08 23:34 (UTC)From: (Anonymous)I wish Robin would continue the stories or let someone else write a few regarding the people. What happened to Aerin and Tor? How many children did they have? Did she return to Luthe? What about Dickie? He finally heard the "blood calls to blood" and returned. Yes, they visted and Hari-Sol had several kids. What was their destiny?
There is so much potential there to have more stories!!!

Date: 2006-04-16 04:46 (UTC)From: (Anonymous)Doesn't Luthe's description seem very similar to Jareth?
Take away the sharp edges, the cruelty, and the fear. (Both in Jareth's face and character) Maybe it's a long stretch.
Anyone else see it?

Date: 2006-08-29 15:33 (UTC)From: (Anonymous)With numb fingers, numb behind and numb brain, I simply could not stop reading until I reached the end.
My life is now changed, as no matter how many books I read, I cannot seem to find one with the same effect that Sunshine has had on me.
I realize than this may sound slightly bonkers, but for those 10 hours, I was Sunshine. Never before have I read a book where I was so grossly immersed that "myself" ceased to exist. Possibly, I never will again.
Huge applause to Robin McKinley for a truly wonderful, original, and inspiring read.
Maybe I will write my own book one day and hope that it will have a similar effect on it's readers, as Sunshine has for me!
