Oh right, posting.

Been re-reading the Black Company books. Finally bought tickets to Chile, skipping Arisia this time because it's so late and I want to spend a while down there. Buying tickets at the last minute is an exercise in frustration; 'cheap' tickets get offered, then vanish when you try to buy them. I have a cold as of yesterday, so it's just as well for my hosts that I'm not flying off right away. As of today, my kitchen is being renovated, through no desire of mine. Just the sort of sleep-wrecking noise and loss of kitchen I need with a cold. Lease ends in March and they want renewal, I need to think about that. Good location, don't want to move, but iffy apartment -- did I mention a water pipe above the bathroom bursting spontaneously? No major damage, but could have been worse, and I wonder about the look of some pipes in my bathroom. Also I really need to work on getting a job, or a cheaper domicile. And having less stuff so I fit in a cheaper domicile.

I've also been following the euro crisis in morbid fascination. Might do a post sometime, though I'd largely be channeling Paul Cassandra.
