A Misspent Youth
2012-03-29 20:42Yesterday I re-read Pamela Dean's Tam Lin, as I have oft before, though apparently not in the past 8 years. The copy I gave my mother, even; I found a couple of her post-its early on. It's still good. I catch clues now I don't remember catching before, even after I knew what to look for.
I've also been inspired to spend less time online reading articles and arguing about politics and more reading books and literature. I'm currently reading Anthony and Cleopatra, and checked out a bunch of other Shakespeare as little Penguins -- I have the Riverside, but it's a physical pain. Though perhaps I should have checked out DVDs of performances too, and I doubt any play will be as character indulgent as a good novel.
I still owe the world a followup to my liberal bias post, and a finish to the history of India series.
