29 C at 9:30. Predicted heat index of 37. Esplanade security means no backpacks or most drinks... for the Esplanade, according to the MIT Tech; my social group would camp out on the MIT side of the Charles River, though. Though I'd think security would be tight on both sides, if they're going nuts. Still, don't really want to camp out all afternoon in this heat even with drinks.
My living room says 29 right now, and 58% humidity, but just sitting and with a ceiling fan it's surprisingly comfortable. Hmm, and minimal clothes.
A couple days ago I discovered a $6 mister at Ace Hardware. You fill it with water, pump it manually a couple of times, and it can spray you at the press of a button. Less messy than splashing water on yourself... and particularly useful at swing dancing last night. I also got two more thermometers, so I can measure my bedroom, living room, and outdoors without having to shuffle my one thermometer back and forth.
