For reasons, we have two in the bathroom at the moment, and I've discovered it's nice to use a thick coarse one for initial cleanup, and a thinner smooth one to try to get squeaky clean (or as much as you can without soap and water) with less irritation.

I approve of this content. I will have to consider a similar option in my bathroom.

Maybe dishwashing is like that with the sponges with a rough side.

I have long felt that the cheap smooth toilet paper that's available in a lot of public bathrooms is highly underrated.

That stuff is often so thin I feel I have to layer it up a lot for adequate protection. Especially early on in a wet process.

Scott seems a nice middle ground between "too thin" and "so thick even one layer feels awkward".

I always layer up and it doesn't particularly bother me to need to fold it over one or two extra times.
