Yesterday I shuffled out of the house for Tuesday brunch with lyceum. It was sunny and warm, she talked about it supposedly going up to 77. After all that, I shuffled back home and watched some Monster, approaching the series climax and finale. Which involved heavy rainstorms, cutting off a small town with flooded roads and failed phone lines. And, as I watched, the sky in Bloomington got grayer and grayer, until hail and thunder came, and I turned off my computer (I'm a tad paranoid about my electronics and storms, especially after losing a cablemodem) with two episodes left, and went to bed (5pm?)
I noticed later that it was getting colder but, having just turned my computer back on after 24 hours, I find it's *under 40*, with promises of subfreezing. Or for the centigrade readership, 6 to -1. I want to shuffle out of the house to get more kleenex and toilet paper and such, and maybe some carbonated beverages, except I now don't want to leave the house at all...
