akashiver said a while back that the Runcible Spoon had good breakfast. I hadn't tested this, since I'm usually not up that early. Today, though, Hofstadter gave his Singularity talk at the A-Life conference, at 9am, so I was up, and went over afterwards with Chris. It is good: $4.50 for your basic 2 eggs, toast, and meat, where one meat option is this pair of really good (seasoned, spicy) sausage patties. 8am-11:30am. And a waitress I'd never seen before; don't know if she's new or a morning person.

Weather's crazy today. Thunder, rain, sun, heavy rain, sun, thunder! Good rainbow potential, but I'm going back to bed.

Chris and I did kind of decide we should go see Gore's global warming movie, An Inconvenient Truth. *checks web* Not that it's actually in town.

Well, I missed A-life through not paying attention to e-mail, or something. I knew it was happening after Doug sent out the "these are our talks" e-mail. Plus it cost money, not that it seemed anyone was checking.
