I live in a city where eating local/buying local is an undercurrent of the culture. But, that good for us food is expensive too, of course, because they are produced on small local farms or from even smaller urban co-ops.

I don't so much see the inflation thing making people eat healthier, but it may get people to eat LESS, which with the majority of Americans could be a good trend....

*shrug* Really, it just read like people on their high-horses getting a bit carried away.
