I mentioned Napa Valley being pretty good. Classico roasted garlic was not very good, though I think tomato and basil had been decent. On opening a second jar of the Napa Valley, I noticed a difference -- very rich. Oily, even, even by my palate. Olive oil of course... but lots of it. Classico has 50 calories in half a cup, 10 from fat. Napa has 90 calories, 60 from fat. Yum.

Date: 2009-04-18 05:44 (UTC)From:You can't argue with olive oil though! My favorite these days is just pasta with olive oil, good grated parm, and fresh basil. My toddler gobbles it up and its a lot less messy than a red sauce.
