I mentioned Napa Valley being pretty good. Classico roasted garlic was not very good, though I think tomato and basil had been decent. On opening a second jar of the Napa Valley, I noticed a difference -- very rich. Oily, even, even by my palate. Olive oil of course... but lots of it. Classico has 50 calories in half a cup, 10 from fat. Napa has 90 calories, 60 from fat. Yum.

I'm a big fan of the Classico sauces because of the calories (and because the ingredient list seems pretty wholesome). The four cheeses one is pretty good, but not as great on the calories of course.

You can't argue with olive oil though! My favorite these days is just pasta with olive oil, good grated parm, and fresh basil. My toddler gobbles it up and its a lot less messy than a red sauce.
