I had Bombay Special Biryani at Bombay House -- chicken, lamb, shrimp. Good, though the chicken has the usual lump of white meat problem, and they can't substitute dark meat. But I ate half, and took the rest home, and the leftover (plus styrofoam container) weighs 600 grams. So 1100-1200 grams for the original meal, or two and a half pounds. I have cooked rice at 1.3 calories per gram, so like 1500 calories -- not counting calories from the meats and yogurt sauce.

People think the environment is better off now that Obama's in charge especially Democratic people. There seem to be a rash of articles like this, namely about people's perceptions of reality being a function of their party and who's in charge.
