Bunch of weird dreams two nights ago. A book cover with the title No Timeshift is the Best Kind of Time Travel, with an illustration of Frankenstein's Monster and the Wolfman on roller skates fighting Nazis. I think "timeshift" was supposed to be something keeping time travellers from different eras apart even if they were in the same time. Hey, it's a dream.
And another dream about a baby growing from a bean and being switched with a real baby by the gentleman with thistledown hair (Strange and Norrell) but growing up to be Radagast and causing Durin's Fall anyway. Yeah, weird.
I was tickled to get an "Best Online" Oscar in the LARP. Hmm, three mages tied for it. I still have an Epilogue cut-scene to write up when I have time and focus. And I thought someone said they had a question for me about the Epilogue but that never followed through. :)
I re-watched Castle Cagliostro, half with my mother, half not. First half didn't seem so good, and I think this wasn't just because my mother was visibly bored. Musical effects were weird, lots of things seemed silly. But the movie still ends well -- maybe that's why I thought so highly of it. This sample "special edition" DVD I was sent for reviewing purposes doesn't seem to have actual special features on it, though -- just the movie.
It's good to have friends, thanks again for all the replies. Wish I had more in Chicago but it makes sense that I don't. Wish my *parents* had more in Chicago.
