Following on from the previous green onion post, I've just had hamburger made with chopped green onion mixed in. If anything, an even bigger difference than with the lambburger, somehow. And good. Reminiscent of some dim sum.
Which I've belatedly found a source for in Bloomington. Not fresh, oh no. But Obo's in Eastland Plaza had some frozen varieties, at least ha gao (shrimp dumplings) and taro buns, and they're quick and decent, at least to a deprived palate.
