This week in meh
2014-04-11 23:29My building seems to be vibrating a lot this week, that or I'm going very neurotic; sleep has been horrible. This has happened before in this apartment, then gone away. I suspect some new machinery starting up with the warm weather?
I read Hunger Games. Pretty good! Or gripping, anyway. I teared up at various points, especially the flower and bread scenes.
I also read two volumes of Saga, a comic, for book club. Interesting, though slips away from memory faster.
I've re-watched Nanoha A's, and finally watched the original Nanoha. Still an intriguing setting with charming characters, though storywise both series have some flaws including plot holes. I've read a bunch of fanfic and had a slew of ideas myself; even started writing a bit of that and Frozen fic.
Almost done with the High Cost of parking book; not sure it'll be worth blogging.
Had a nice chat with a supermarket girl. I don't think I was creepy. "Are you new here?" "Yeah. Are you into anime?" [I have a pin on my backpack." Brief chat about PAX East and cosplay.
As of half an hour ago, I have an 80 day streak on Duolingo (Spanish)!
