If you order pizza here in Bloomington, breadsticks generally come too. I'm not used to this. Of course, my parents would order from foofy places like Eduardo's in Chicago. I don't remember breadsticks being standard at Caltech or in San Francisco. Is this a new thing, a Midwest thing, or a "Damien doesn't order specials with drinks and breadsticks" thing?

At present, in Chicago, it depends on where you are ordering. Domino's, yes. Bacino's, no. Giordano's, no. I don't do Eduardo's, so I don't know about there.

Other respondents?

Opinions on Facebook vary from "it's you" to "I don't remember them in Cleveland/Chicago" to "they aggressively push them in Denver". Guy in Terre Haute doesn't recall them from 05-08.

In England, pizza apparently comes with chips (fat fries by our standards.)

Domino's push them in national ads.
