I did so deliberately for the first time tonight, feeling I was too tired ot enjoy swing dance, and could try biking rather than walking up the steep hill to NESFA. Wasn't too bad, though it wasn't too hard in rainfall either. Light windbreaker worked fine for body, but if it were any cold I'd have wanted my gloves with me, as it is my fingers are doing that warm-up burn. Lack of fenders wasn't too bad, but my eyeglasses got wet which hurt visibility. Worst problem was coming back down a steep route, and discovering brakes don't work so well when wet.
What's also 'fun' is not so much the one-way streets themselves, but how they switch between one-way or not without warning, usually in a way to inconvenience me. Also how there's like 8 blocks in a row that are all one-way toward Somerville, making it hard to legally get away from it. Wtf.
I went to NESFA last week, after an overly long bike ride from MIT; I kicked ass in Dominion. This week, I came in last in both games. First game, I dunno. Second one was half base, half Prosperity, plus Big Money, with Mine and Expand in, and I just didn't play well. Never played Watchtower correctly. Also had bad draw luck I guess: hands with two many unusable Action cards, making my investment worthless, or conversely with all Treasure cards. I had 28, the leader had 74.
