I'm almost out of envelopes.
I think it may be the box of envelopes my parents sent me off to college with, almost 20 years ago.
It had 100 envelopes. Is that possible? Given a lot of electronic payments, or landlords who lived literally next door, or a roommate who paid the rent, I think it is. Most envelopes have gone to rent or bill payments, and not all that many to friends -- a few summers, and S's trip in South America. No huge number. On the rare occasions I wrote my parents, they'd provided self-addressed envelopes to use (no doubt to encourage me.)
Odd way of remembering my mother's birthday, but hey.
