I can't remember ever making them, though I don't swear to perfect memory in this.

After multiple attempts to make and keep new years resolutions but always failing to do so, I decided to just stop and instead make lifestyle changes when I felt I was ready.

Very occasionally, I will think about making one, but more than anything it tends to be sort of a resolve to do something I already do more consciously. If I were to make one, it would probably be about reading "actual books" more often.

Actual books vs... ebooks? Long fanfics? General shortform?

Basically, I find that I don't really read officially published material very often. I just get caught scrolling on websites, occasionally reading fic, getting lost on wikipedia, doing roleplay... Those kinds of things. A lot of reading but not "reading books."

My resolutions are simple and attainable, hence I almost always keep them. For example, in 2013 my resolution was to stop saying "January two thousand thirteen" but to start saying "January twenty thirteen". (Or whatever the month/year combo was.) This year my resolution was "don't move furniture", but alas, I've been forced to break it repeatedly.

My relationship with New Years resolutions is too casual to be summed up with any of the responses to this poll. I don't even remember whether I make New Years resolutions or not! I do make resolutions sometimes, and sometimes I keep them. I don't think this is particularly related to whether said resolutions are tied to the New Year.
