In the past week:

Roasting pecans and rediscovering roasted garlic.

Cooking some sliced pork with impromptu soy sauce and ginger and making an unexpectedly good ginger pork.

Finally getting what feels like a really good mask fit (alleged 3M Aura 1870+, alleged because from Amazon reseller)

Re-reading Piranesi, still good

Finding a rather nice produce store near me, with multiple varieties of mandarin, and an open door. Sadly I wasn't able to renew this Airbnb, and I opted further east for more quiet, so it's a short-lived joy.

(Re?)reading last year's paper on income and happiness; more of an intellectual joy but still counts.

It was certainly nice to discover that I can get acceptable haggis relatively locally. Also that I hadn't spent too much on credit that I couldn't easily pay it off.

I did not expect haggis in Tennessee.

I didn't exactly easily find a wide selection, I had to go downtown into the largest city in E TN, though I've also yet to explore the international stores along Kingston Pike. I'm very pleased it was available! I'm disappointed that a local Polish diner isn't serving their food any more, though, have to see where I can go for decent pierogi, gołąbki, etc., that one should be easier!
