In preparation for the storm, MA's governor declared a travel ban. My first reaction was "he can *do* that?" Other people had skeptical reactions.
NYC did not declare a travel ban. Nor, recently, did Chicago. Not sure where this was but it's more of the same.
A comment on the first image's reddit thread was that the ban may have been the smartest executive decision in MA in the past decade. Our roads were empty and easy to clear.
A snarkier comment about the images was "This is what freedom looks like."
